YCC SID To Step Down To Pursue Advanced Degree

BILLINGS, Mont. — Yellowstone Christian College Sports Information Director Scott Lemon will be resigning from his duties at the college, effective May 1, as it was announced earlier this week.

Lemon, who's lived most of his life in South Dakota and is a 2016 graduate of Black Hills State University, will be moving back to the Black Hills of South Dakota at the end of the month to pursue his Master’s degree through Black Hills State starting in August.

“I’d like to thank everyone at YCC for taking a chance on me in September and for their support this year, especially (YCC President) Dr. Bruce Cannon and Mr. Leonard Epps,” said Lemon. “I’ve enjoyed my time in Billings, but I’m excited to move back home and see what the future holds there.”

Lemon was the first active SID in YCC’s short history, serving as the lead statistician for home basketball games, producing post-game write ups, crafting feature stories on student-athletes, and filming and editing video features.

Contact Athletic Director Leonard Epps for more information regarding the SID opening for the 2017-2018 academic year.
