Centurions Beat Wolfpack in Track Meet 90-64

BILLINGS, MT — In a high-intensity, fast-paced ballgame, the Yellowstone Christian College Centurions defeated the Oak Hills Christian College Wolfpack 90-64 on Sunday afternoon.

Both offenses struggled to score in the first half, as the Centurions shot a mere 22% from the floor, and the Wolfpack weren’t much better at 33% shooting. The score at the break was 36-21 YCC.

However, the second half was a different story. The Centurion offense exploded, spearheaded by junior reserve Thomas Rowland. Rowland hit five straight three pointers en route to scoring 17 of his 19 points in the second frame. Taylan Barrett finished with a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Oak Hills was led offensively by Moe Blackmon who had a game-high 22 points to go along with seven rebounds. Colin Tyrone joined him in double-digits with 10.

The Centurions have Monday off before traveling to Powell, Wyo. on Tuesday to take on Northwest College in the first double header. The Centurion women will tip off at 5:30, followed by the men. For more information about the season and for full game recaps, visit
