Basketball (M): Isaiah Boxell

Isaiah Boxell enters his first season as head men’s basketball coach at Yellowstone Christian College for the 2017-2018 season.

During the 2016-2017 season, Boxell was an assistant men’s basketball coach at YCC.

During the 2015-2016 season, Boxell was an assistant men’s basketball coach at Union College (NAIA Division II) in Barbourville, Kentucky. They were conference champions, conference tournament champions, national tournament finalist (1st round), held a final record of 28-7, and finished the year ranked 11th in the country.

During the 2014-15 season, he was a volunteer men’s basketball coach for Eastern Nazarene College (NCAA Division III) in Quincy, Massachusetts. They were conference tournament semifinalists, while finishing with an overall record of 22-5.

In the fall of 2013, he was a volunteer men’s basketball coach at Hawaii Pacific University (NCAA Division II) in Honolulu, Hawaii.

In the summer of 2012, Boxell served as a strength and conditioning intern at the College of Charleston (NCAA Division I) in Charleston, South Carolina- where he assisted with the men’s basketball strength program.

The Ponder, Texas native earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education from University of the Ozarks (AR), where he was a four-year member of the basketball team. In addition, he earned his Master’s of Science in Health and Human Performance from Sul Ross State University.
